A healthy lifestyle can encompass a lot of things, and will often mean different things to different people. My father-in-law used to say that “good health is a crown only seen by those not wearing it.” By this, he meant that we only tend to recognize and value good health when we DON’T have it. I’d like to change that! My goal for myself, my family and YOU is that we recognize and appreciate the fact that when we feel good, when we sleep well, and when we have a reserve of energy, we’re able enjoy our lives a whole lot more, AND accomplish a lot more with the time that we have. Using both tools and strategies, I can help you get back to a healthier lifestyle.
Achieve Weight Loss
Our weight is a touch point for a lot of us. When we put on our favorite pair of jeans and can’t quite zip them up, we take notice! Although some may consider a preoccupation with weight to be an indication of vanity, I don’t agree. Our weight is so much more than how we look. According to an article I recently read, a person’s excessive weight contributes to coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes and also some cancers. This is no bueno! When it comes right down to it, the 3 components of healthy weight loss include: flooding our bodies with premium nutrition; reducing the ill-effects of stress; and cleansing our cells of harmful toxins. Using specific approaches and product recommendations, I coach you as you return to your ideal weight.

Athletes require an optimum amount of protein, as well as other nutrients, in order to succeed. Just as in other areas of your life, what you “put in” will affect what you “get out.” As an example, my son is a competitive swimmer in high school. I learned that with each 2-hour workout, he can easily burn through 1,000 + calories, so I have to make sure he’s getting plenty of high-quality protein, as well as other select nutrients. With the right foods and supplements, he’s performing at his best!

At the end of the day, your ability to sleep well can make or break your health. Have you ever lain in bed, staring at the ceiling and waiting for sleep to come? Or, do you constantly push yourself past bedtime, trying to get “one more thing” accomplished? You would be amazed how a properly-balanced diet, and often the addition of certain nutrients, will affect your sleep. Sleep can also be related to your stress levels and your weight. We will look at and address all of these issues in our discussion.
